Intracardiac Echocardiography Catheters

Intracardiac Echocardiography catheters are designed for use in adult and adolescent pediatric patients to view cardiac architecture, blood flow, and other devices inside the heart. ICE has the potential to become one of the best ways to use imaging to guide interventions.

Extremely aggressive techniques for electrophysiologic ablation therapy for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias quickly replaced the requirement for ICE-guided treatments for the implantation of anatomical devices for the closure of ASDs. ICE is used to assist transeptal puncture and localize catheter proximity to anatomic landmarks including the Cavo-Tricuspid isthmus, AV nodal region, and the upper and lower left pulmonary veins after entry into the left atrium.

The ULTRA ICE PLUS catheter allows users to put the catheter right next to regions of interest, such as the proximal coronary sinus, fossaovalis, or pulmonary veins, which is intended to improve visualisation of cardiac structures and improve imaging performance. Its 360 degree, forward looking visualisation field gives extra near-field resolution than phased array catheters, with no need to manually move the catheter away from a targeted region to adjust focal distance.

The ViewFlex Xtra ICE Catheter is an instantaneous intracardiac ultrasound catheter designed for use in adult and adolescent paediatric patients to view cardiac structures, blood flow, and other devices within the heart when connected to a ViewMate ultrasound console via the ViewFlex Catheter Interface Module.

ViewFlex Xtra provides high resolution Ultrasound imaging of intracardiac Anatomy, four way deflection left/right & Anterior/ Posterior, Single handed, self-locking steering, one to one tip response.

Sound Star Catheter

A Intracardiac Ultrasound catheter, which can be integrated with 3- D mapping system. This catheter supports Carto 3 System. Real-time intracardiac echocardiogram imaging and navigation are provided by the SOUNDSTAR Ultrasound Catheter with the CARTOSOUND Module to provide operational efficiency. For example, real-time monitoring of the ablation catheter tip lowers radiation exposure and boosts confidence.

A magnetic sensor has been placed into the probe tip of the CARTOSOUND catheter. This signal is transmitted via a different connection and entered into the Patient Interface Unit of the CARTO EAM system. This enables the rendering of the catheter’s position on the CARTO EA map and the immediate presentation of the ICE image within the CARTO EAM system interface.
